continuity of service.
Steve English said; “I’d like to thank Roger Parkin, Alison Hibbert and Victoria Cody for all their hard work leading up to this excellent decision taken by the Councillors. We’ve worked long and hard with Council officers to achieve this result which will see Slough
remain a skating town while the Council undertake the work to modernise the permanent facility and make it once again an arena that all users can be proud to call home.” He continued; “There’s been many obstacles to overcome on the journey to tonight’s announcement of the temporary rink approval but with Roger, Alison and Victoria working hard on this project I’m grateful that the Elected Members have seen the huge benefit
this will be to Slough to keep skating alive.” Further details on the new temporary facility will be announced in due course by Slough Borough Council.
